Hi. Welcome to Burnt by Beck. Woodburning. Pyrography. Whatever you want to call it, it’s all about burning things into wood. Hopefully, things that are interesting to look at.

I came across woodburning very randomly. Honestly, I don’t even remember what prompted it. What I do remember is that, for a few years in my early teens, I went through a bit of a pyro phase. Not a big deal. Relax. Lots of kids go through it.

The point is this: that this very common fascination with fire and my love of drawing shook hands when I starting toying around with pyrography.

I love it. I sometimes take long breaks in between. But I always come back to it. It’s fun to burn stuff!

Anyway, hope you see some stuff that makes you say “Oh, that’s kind of cool. Weird. But…cool.”
